First Ever Social Web Week CT Kicks off in New Haven
(7/8/2010) (NEW HAVEN)- Social Web Week CT kicks off this Saturday in New Haven. The first of its kind in Connecticut, Social Web Week CT is a series of live and participative events centered on how to use the social web to improve the quality of life, work and play in the State. Taking place from Saturday, July 10 through Friday, July 16, more than 30 events will makeup Social Web Week CT with each day of the week highlighting a different theme.
Social Web Week CT is a grassroots initiative that has resulted in collaboration between businesses, non-profits, technology groups and other leaders across New Haven and the State with significant participation by the City of New Haven and Mayor John DeStefano, Jr.

•New Haven in the Last 100 Days: A City on the Move with an announcement by the Mayor’s Chief of Staff Sean Matteson
King’s Court, 20 Grand Avenue - Tuesday, July 13 at 6 p.m.
•Press Conference for PodcampCT with PodcampCT Organizers
Sage Oyster Bar on Water Street - Friday, July 16 at 5 p.m.
